Epitelesis presents...

Live Performance Action Athens 2014

In the fifth part of artists’ presentation series by epitelesis - Performance Art Foundation, performance artist Dagmar I. Glausnitzer-Smith from Germany presents two live performances in Artwall / Project Space, under the tile “Paper Walks, Paper Talks, No. 4” on Thursday 9^th of October and “Agrostis Roles” on Friday 10^th of October at 20:00. Through the process of collecting objects, ideas and images, the artist repositions her body in occurrences of daily life, in order to search for a temporary ‘trueness’ and the dimensions that the ‘self’ can take in terms of portraiture. By referencing a blank canvas and white paper as the starting point of life, the attempt to perceive a visual field, experiences and sounds, is presented as traces that can fill up or be erased from the ‘empty’ surface of the canvas.
